Run for the Call is a team of men and women who, by running in area races in and around the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, are helping young men in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati to take up the challenge spoken about in Acts 20:24 to “finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear witness to the gospel of God’s grace.”

Many young men are being called by Christ to the specific vocation of the priesthood and some of these men are finding it very difficult to pay for the education required to answer that call while not being able to earn money throughout the school year and much of the summer. To help relieve the burden on these men and on the Archdiocese and the seminaries it supports, this group was formed.

The money being raised goes to help seminarians in times of emergency or to help pay for tuition costs or other special summer assignments which require extra expense on the part of the seminarian or Archdiocese.
