Team Training Run!

One of the difficult things about building a team of runners from all across the Archdiocese is that the team members rarely get to meet one another. We’d like to make an attempt to correct that.

On Friday, April 27th (a mere 9 days before Flying Pig Weekend), we will be holding a team training run in the scenic Glen Helen Nature Preserve in Yellow Springs, OH. This park has many beautiful running trails including the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail that reaches as far south as Cincinnati! The team will meet at the entrance to the Nature Preserve on Corry St. (click here for a map) at 6:30 pm on Friday evening and go for a nice casual run before sitting down to a spaghetti dinner hosted by St. Paul Catholic Church. Runners will be able to run (or walk) at their own pace as far and for as long as they would like, but the dinner will begin at about 7:30 pm. The night will end no later than 9:00 pm.

There is no cost for this event and we encourage all our runners to invite their family and friends to join us!

Please RSVP the number of people you plan to bring by commenting below or sending us an email (runforthecall@gmail.com). If you can’t make it for the run, but can only make it for the dinner (or vice versa), please don’t hesitate to come!

This is a great opportunity to meet one another, to hear about all the details of the Flying Pig Races, to pick up our team t-shirts, and to share our joy and commitment for vocations!
