Fundraisers, Fundraisers, Fundraisers!

In case you didn’t notice, we are going to be having a couple of fundraisers! The first of these fundraisers is going to be happening just 10 days from today!!

The Cincinnati Catholic Square Dance sponsored by area Young Adult groups and featuring radio DJs Jay Kruz of Rewind 94.9 and Jesse Tack of B105 will begin at 5:30 on Saturday, March 31st at St. Anthony of Padua Church (near Ursuline Academy) on Victory Parkway. The night will begin with free square dance lessons for everyone who needs them and will continue with food and fun until 11:00pm. Admission for the night is just $5 per person and all proceeds will go to benefit Run for the Call! We are extremely excited about this event and are expecting a very large crowd. In fact, we are hoping to max out the space in just our first year of putting on this event! So, if you are looking for a great way to spend your Saturday night with great people, and at the same time support a great cause, you don’t want to miss this!! Make sure to check out all the event details here.

If Square Dancing isn’t really your thing, we are looking forward to our second fundraiser of the year at St. Cecilia Church in Oakley on Saturday, May 5th following the 4:00 pm Mass. At the end of the Mass, all Flying Pig runners will be receiving a special blessing from Fr. Jamie Weber (who will be running that weekend himself) and all will be invited to indulge in a Spaghetti dinner cooked by the wonderful volunteers of the St. Cecilia parish. More details about that dinner will be coming soon, but mark your calendars and if you are out of town and plan to cheer on the Run for the Call team in the Saturday races, make a plan to stay the evening and join us for Mass and dinner!
